Community Meals are an essential part of who we are at Jordan Memorial. Through the meals, we are able to more fully live into our mission and vision. Our next set of community meal is November 26 (Thanksgiving Feast!) at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Come Join us for some great food!
Because of the possibilities of storms, wind & rain this years Truck or Treat has been rescheduled until Saturday Nov 2, 2019 from 4-6pm. It will still be held on Main Street in Ramseur……
This year’s Trunk or Treat will take place on Main Street in Ramseur from 6pm-8pm. Main Street will be blocked off, just like Haircut Day, to allow for children to safely walk and receive candy from each trunk. If you would like to participate, please call the church office at (336) 824-2252.
The UMW is collecting calendars to be delivered to those who reside in nursing facilities. Please leave them in the collection box outside the church office.
The United Methodist Women will meet on Sunday, November 3th at 2:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Our mission project for Southeast Middle School is long or short elastic banded pants, adult sizes small, medium, or large. Also index cards and pencils holders that fit into three ring binder are needed.
The UMW sponsored Christmas Mail will begin on Sunday, December 1 and will continue through December 22. Mail will be delivered to shut-ins and those who reside in nursing facilities. Other members will receive their mail each Sunday. Red containers will be provided at the back of the sanctuary and on the front middle pew. Place your mail in either container along with your donation for the mail service. All donations will be used for the children and youth programs at Jordan Memorial. Checks should be made to Jordan Memorial UMC with the notation that it is for Christmas mail.

Jordan’s closet is expanding! We are starting to collect housewares. Items such as pots & pans, Blankets & Sheets are needed in our community. If you have any extras around your house, please consider donating them.
Also, believe it or not, Christmas is only a few months away. We are accepting donations of gently used toys to be given to families to place them under the tree Christmas morning. If you can assist with this project, the community children will greatly benefit.
