To Haircut Day Sponsors
From Free Haircut Day Team
Thank you again for supporting our community and our children last year at Free Haircut Day. Last year was a wonderful event and we are hosting it again this year! Our children need the support this year now more than ever. However, given our current environment, 2020 it will be a little different. Rather than closing off the streets, we plan for parents to drive through our parking lot, by entering on Main Street, pick up a book bag and drive out.
So knowing that our school age children still have many needs, we are asking for your help. We have ordered 700 book bags and want to stuff them with school supplies and nonperishable food items (see suggested list below). Additionally, please provide any information about what services you or your company offers, to be included in the book bag; we are also gladly accepting any items you many have donated during past Haircut Days.
This year’s Free Haircut Day is Saturday August 15th beginning at 10am.
If you would like to contribute financially, through service or have any questions you can contact us at
Jordan Memorial UMC, c/o haircut day PO Box 848, Ramseur, NC 27316.
Email: JordanMemorial@JordanMemorial.org
Phone: 336-824-2252
Please drop off all supplies and food items at Jordan Memorial UMC fellowship hall no later than Saturday August 8. This will give us time to organize and be ready to stuff bags on Friday August 14th. The church office is open on Monday’s & Thursday’s from 9am – 1pm and will accept supplies during that time as well.
Suggested Nonperishable food items
granola bars (esp. honey & oats)
protein bars
crackers with cheese
dried fruit
squeezable applesauce or any fruit flavor
small boxes of cereal
dried veggies

1 inch three ring binders
3 inch three ring binders
