Christmas Cheer

This year the Ramseur Ministerial Association will be coming together to spread Christmas cheer to families in our community. We will be given names, ages, and sizes for children within our community that would not otherwise have a chance to enjoy Christmas. The goal will be to spend $100 per child and the gifts will be given out at a special gathering on December 17th, 3:00 PM at First Christian Church. All gifts will need to be in by December 3rd. We will get the names here in October so if you are interested in helping please reach out to the church office to receive these details.

* Please note that this is in addition to the wonderful ministry of the Santa Sleigh Project. We will also have opportunities to help with this impactful ministry that is run by James and Cheryl Rank. More details for this to follow.

Nehemiah Project – The drive thru event starts on Dec 16, Saturday at 11am.

The Nehemiah project will be December 16th, we will once again provide all the green beans for this food give away. We will order in bulk from Carlie C’s so donations will be accepted to help cover the cost. Last year we gave out all 300 boxes of food and enjoyed a beautiful day of ecumenical work as we gathered with our brothers and sisters from various churches to do this wonderful ministry. We pray you will consider donating and or helping during this event.

WHEELCHAIR RAMPS

For several years now JMUMC has had a ministry called IMPACT Ramseur which builds wheelchair ramps for needy individuals.  We are in need of more volunteers for future projects.  Therefore, we would like to create a list of interested people.  Obviously, we need folks skilled in the use of hammers, saws and power tools, but we also need helpers. For more information contact church office.
